Hi, my name is Jo and I run Leading The Way Pet Services, which is a small family run business based in Ruskington near Sleaford.

I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and have owned a variety of pets including Dogs, Cats, Chickens, Ferrets, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, to name a few.

My love of ferrets started when I worked as a volunteer at the British Wildlife Rescue Centre near Stafford.

I worked there for approximately 4 years and helped with the care and rehabilitation of British Wildlife including Birds of prey, Hedgehogs, Badgers, Foxes, Pheasants, Deer, Ducks, Stoats, Garden birds etc and an array of unwanted pets such as Rabbits, Ferrets, Aviary birds, Rats, Chipmunks, and even a pig!  I have also hand reared Hedgehogs, birds, Squirrels and other small mammals.

After moving away from Stafford I became a self employed dog walker until I recently moved to Ruskington where I decided to start my own business. I love being outdoors even when the weather isn't to great so with the added bonus of having a dog or two by my side makes it even more rewarding.

I am currently owned by 2 Border Collies, 7cats and 5 guinea pigs.
